A terrific opening hole to get the round off to a good start. Recent renovations have moved a bunker complex from the left to the right side of the fairway and widened the landing area on the left by about 15 yards. Number one plays as a slight dogleg right, with tall trees and out-of-bounds along that side. Big hitters can go for it in two, but playing it as a three-shot par five gives players a good chance for birdie or a solid par. Protected by bunkers, the green is large but the breaks are subtle.
